Solar Inspection

By James Kennedy, Founder and President Beach Cities Solar Consulting LLC

SOLAR INSPECTION

Most solar installers will not perform a solar inspection on your system unless they installed it.  With over 4,500,000 existing rooftop solar systems installed in the United States (and growing daily) one of the most common inquiries our firm receives is for an inspection.  Some common concerns from customers include large annual true up bills from the electric utility (which could be from a loose wire or faulty inverter), low solar energy production, equipment malfunctions, or a desire to increase the existing solar system size or change the array azimuths.

Solar Inspection

Our solar inspection service can get your existing system back on track!

Often the company that the property owner used to install the solar system is no longer in business and they do not know where to turn!

If this situation sounds familiar to you do not fret!  At Beach Cities Solar Consulting LLC, we offer an inspection service for both residential and commercial solar systems.  The benefit for the consumer to this service is that we are being compensated for our time and expertise, and not for selling any product.  We also offer this to non-installation customers.

As part of this service, we will have one of our experienced solar technicians come to your home or business and evaluate the system.  After they have inspected the system, they will then provide a written quote to fix the problem and get your system back on track.  There is a fixed cost for the “truck roll” to arrive at the site for both residential ($250) and commercial solar systems ($500 – $1,000).  The quote to fix the system is a separate cost.  We are currently only offering a solar inspection in Los Angeles and Orange County.
